A laboratory built for people who want to make perfume properly
Scentence Lab was founded to give India a serious, hands-on perfumery education — the kind that turns curiosity into a craft, and a craft into a business.
Our story
Perfumery in India has always been rich — attars, oud, ittar houses and centuries of distillation knowledge. What was missing was structured training: a place where a beginner could learn raw materials, formulation and evaluation in a real lab, with proper study material rather than scattered tutorials.
Scentence Lab was created to fill that gap. We teach small batches, we keep every session hands-on, and we treat perfumery as both a science and a craft. Students weigh their own formulas, evaluate their own blends and leave with bottles they actually made.
Many of our students arrive with a business idea. We make sure they leave with costing sheets, supplier knowledge and packaging guidance alongside their formulas.
